All classic Soundgarden fans should check out the setlist from Chris Cornell's summer tour
only 2 encores in austin (played for over 2.5 hours, so it SEEMED so!)

Last night's show setlist: (holy crap!)

Spoonman
Let Me Drown (he said it was the first time he's played live it in over 10 years)
Show Me How To Live
No Such Thing
Be Yourself
Hunger Strike (amazing rendition - one of the guitarists did Eddie's vocal part of the chorus and did a great job {chris still sang both parts of the verses, just in a lower register for Eddie's})
What You Are
Loud Love (added by me, The Other didn't know what song this was)
Rusty Cage
Sunshower (my favorite non-Soundgarden song of the evening)
--Acoustic Set--
Can't Change Me
I Am The Highway
Scar On The Sky
All Night Thing
--Full Band--
Doesn't Remind Me (actually started acoustic, then the band joined Chris onstage)
Cochise
Outshined (one of the highlights of the show for me, loved it)
You Know My Name
Billie Jean
Like A Stone
Jesus Christ Pose
--Encore 1--
My Wave (just great)
Seasons (second favorite non-SG song of the evening, he had the full band backing him on it and it was just great, loved the drums)
Black Hole Sun
--Encore 2--
She'll Never Be Your Man
Slaves and Bulldozers (best song of the show, IMO. Just. Tore. It. Up.)
UNBELIEVABLE SET!!! But how is he not going to Seattle?

Well only one encore for Beeeph and me at the 7/11 LA show at the Wiltern - but it was still a two hour epic show! Let's start with the setlist:
1. Let Me Drown - (Superunknown)
2. Outshined - (Badmotorfinger)
3. Show Me How To Live - (Audioslave)
4. No Such Thing - (Carry On)
5. You Know My Name - (Carry On)
6. song off Carry On (maybe Poison Eye)
7. Say Hello 2 Heaven - (Temple of the Dog)
8. Audioslave song (maybe Be Yourself or What You Are)
9. Rusty Cage - (Badmotorfinger)
10. song off Carry On (maybe She'll Never Be Your Man)
---Acoustic Set---
11. Finally Forever - (Carry On)
12. Fell On Black Days - (Superunknown)
13. Like A Stone - (Audioslave)
---Acoustic Intro - into full band---
14. Doesn't Remind Me - (Audioslave - Out of Exile)
15. Cochise - (Audioslave)
16. The Day I Tried To Live - (Superunknown)
17. Can't Change Me - (Euphoria Morning)
18. Spoonman - (Superunknown)
19. Jesus Christ Pose - (Badmotorfinger)
---Encore---
20. missed this one... (maybe Audioslave's What You Are or Last Remaining Light)
21. My Wave - (Superunknown)
22. Burden In My Hand - (Down on the Upside)
23. Black Hole Sun - (Superunknown)
So there is a song or two I am not positive about (ones in bold are positive). The 6th and 10th songs might be reversed and I feel like they might have played Killing Birds, Today, or Your Time Has Come. I'll see if I can't find another source to verify those.

Overall the show was fanfuckintastic. We nabbed an awesome place to stand at the very front of the 2nd tier. The Wiltern has a cool multi tiered floor. Usually you can get 1st tier (pit) spots if you are there early but for some reason these were all special tix at this show. No big deal cuz we had a great view right in eyeline with the stage (good for shorties like B3E).

Chris was on his shit. He sounds every bit as good today as he ever has. His range is unmatched. The lead guitar had some sweet solo chops and the band was generally not too bad - although there were a couple times I could tell they were having a bit of trouble keeping up on some of the complicated songs like Rusty Cage and JCP. Oh well... more to look forward to for the SOUNDGARDEN reunion!

All the SG songs were the highlights. On top of those, Say Hello 2 Heaven blew everyone away and Cochise was the most rockin of the newer stuff. I am not a big fan of most of the tracks off of Carry On (except maybe You Know My Name) and could have done without a few of the weaker solo "need to sell the album" cuts. Spoonman, while a great rendition, has never been one of my favorite tracks. Same goes for My Wave and Black Hole Sun. I would have REALLY loved to have heard Loud Love, one of my top 5 SG songs (and I have never seen it live). Definitely would have been cool to squeeze another TotD song in (Wooden Jesus??) and I would have really loved to have heard Seasons - but who's complaining?

It was really an exciting thing to hear these Soundgarden songs played live. I can't think of any other band that has influenced my musical taste more and I was just extremely happy to be rockin out to those songs live. Bring on the reunion!!
