some work to find the youtube link.

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Shy6pmnDSmM"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Shy6pmnDSmM" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

and boingboing story...

My 2 cents - this is awesome guerrilla marketing and people are extremely paranoid. It is a good reflection of the state of our country to hear the governor demand punishment. Maximum penalty would be 2-5 years for each of the 10 pieces. Ridiculous. If these guys do time I will be livid.

Got the word out about the ATHF movie, tho...

From Variety:
Meanwhile, the campaign was quietly discontinued in the nine other cities here the devices have been blinking away for more than two weeks without triggering hysteria.

That kills me. I read somewhere that one was found in Woodinville, and it didn't set of a panic. These are selling on Ebay for quite a bit too.

I would love to find one, but I wouldn't sell it.

It's occurred to me that both the news media and the city of Boston have overlooked the real danger that if any two of these devices were combined, they could create a "quad laser" effect, at which point, jumping would be useless.

Watched the move last week. Pretty fun. Remarkably like a long episode.

PS2 game looks kinda fun too even...
