I have decided that saturday the 16th marks the beginning of champagne season. I'm going into the wild to hunt Sir Winston Churchill and maybe his friends Dom and Bollinger.
Who's with me?

I may be, but I may go with a slightly more mid-range, mid-drawer form of tiny-grape libation. (because of recent car purchase and other such expenses and bits)

I have decided that until January 1st, 2007 I am going to be a full blown alcoholic. After that time I will discontinue it's use until January 12th, 2009 as ordered by the courts. Seeing my dad go through chemotherapy for the third time made drinking heavy seem more appealing than not drinking heavy. Also I have been kicked out of Bothell by my psycho roommate which has made things very difficult during a time when I wanted to spend time with my dad versus moving my stuff. Everything is in storage now though and my dad is doing much better and I am GLAD to be away from that crazy Klingon woman.

So since I currently pay no rent I should be able to buy some sir winston churchil and who knows what else so I may christen my 2 year non-drinking sentence...

I have captured Sir Winston from 96. I'll probably also get a couple of bottles on nv stuff for general or post top shelf comsumption.

My definite fave was the Sir Winny.

My big surprise was the L-P Ultra Brut (wasn't a big fan of the normal Brut in the past).

My new mid range fave is the Louis Roederer Brut Premiere NV (not listed because it was previously rated '* * * * 1/2' - but what I will likely but instead of Clicquot for while when I want a nice NV bottle.

You bastard! Awarding my expensive vintage bottle a 2.5!!! Oh well, was your fault anyway - you wanted me to try something we hadn't got before...Ok, next year I'm going to be more careful and maybe read about it beforehand or take Pete's advice if he is around...Jonathan where is Pete these days anyway!
