I must go to court again in a week to finally finalize it - maybe...

So the new date is May 24th...

Oh and the reason why is because apparently the court system likes to do as little as possible and when I checked the box to demand notice of all further proceedings I didn't realize that I was supposed to be the one to provide it...which is weird...because if I am the one providing it to my ex I can tell her anything I want like an incorrect court date perhaps? Additional court fees? I could think of a number of ways to scam...

Our system is such bullshit.

it's pretty ridiculous...in my case before I even went to court I created all the documents before I even knew the outcome which to me is a little strange. In a way it's kind of like doing your own performance review. However, if both parties agree it's rather easy to do a divorce if you don't have kids - well it's rather easy now that I've done it. So now if anyone needs help with a divorce I can assist!
