I highly recommend the: \C64Music\VARIOUS\S-Z\Vip\ folder. Some rather interesting stuff in there.

You can also get SIDPlug for Winamp if you're too lazy, or not cool enough to use the real player.

It's really better to use the player because it's easier to find things with it's snazzy file UI.
Also, when you're setting it up, make sure it's set to 44.1KHz (or above,) and 16 bit. All other defaults should be fine.

Whatever happened to our streaming SID project. I think that stretched back to the original monkeylair email list days. It would be much easier to do now, with a forum.

It was actually easier to do with the IMAP system. I could just embed it in the mail, or even attach. It would be fairly easy for me to upload a bunch of good SIDs to my webspace though. I could just toss a link in every once in a while, and anyone with SIDPlug would be able to hear it. They don't really need to be streamed as they are usually only a couple K each. It's just a bit more work on the back end.

Yeah - I meant "pushed" more than streamed. I think the idea was you were supposed to be listening to this in particular when you read this or something...

Yes, that would be optimal.
I've found some really good folders in the VARIOUS section.
