What console are you looking forward to the most?
I'm not a big Sony fan at all, but I have to say if the PS3 can push numbers anywhere near what they are saying, it's pretty impressive. They definitely still have the most 3rd party developers on their side as well.
I think the new XBox is looking pretty cool too. Not as much to say about it though until I see some cool games for it.
The new Nintendo console is looking quite nice once again. The reason I like Nintendo consoles so much, is that they have all the classic Nintendo 1st party nonsense. Name a game for the PS or XB and I can name a similar game for the PC 90% of the time. You can't get Nintendo licenses anywhere but on their own consoles. (Nor any similar games for the PC.)
I'd very nearly do all my gaming on one of the new consoles if they could release a nice FPS control set. Maybe an optical mouse, with a 10-key pad or something like that. (Directional keys, and a few extras to assign other controls to.) That's the one thing that will keep me on the PC until remedied.
Blah Blah Blah, etc. etc. etc..........
New console bizniss...

I am reserving judgement until I actually start hearing about the games that will be shipping. The support they get will definitely make or break the launch. I am pretty sure I will end up with an Xbox, but we'll see if Sony or Nintendo could tempt me enough. I still would love to spend a few good relaxing weeks or months with some of the choice Gamecube games that have never had the opportunity to play.
The new Nintendo console is definitely not in the same class as the other two hardware-wise, but I think once again Nintendo will be making a profit from their hardware at launch. (While the others take huge losses.) People alway cite the higher sales of the other two, but what they don't realize is that Nintendo only makes money. The other thing is, almost all games for the N systems are cartoony. They are way past the point where hardware will improve that style much. I MUST have the N system, so of course I will get it, and then there will be a decision between the X and PS. I have serious doubts about Sony's performance numbers. I remember the PS2 being able to "render Pixar quality" PFFFT!!!! What a bunch of crap! We'll see. Plus they keep releasing conflicting info to the press.

I have no affinity to MS asa corporation or console manufacturer over Sony, but I certainly find myself more turned on by the idea of a new Xbox. I have never felt I was really missing out on anything (except maybe katamari damashii) by not owning a PS2. I think MS will have some really cool things in store for us at launch and once again they will likely look better on the MS hw than on the SOny HW. But I must reiterate that these are all way early predictions and I am certainly reserving judgement for a later, more informed, date.
Nintendo will impress the way they always do with creative and wide appealing franchise games. It is hard not to be excited to see what they have in store.
