Teh hell?!?!?!?!

Post by Bill Drayton Jr. »

Sup wit da Comcast DNS yo????

It takes forever to resovle any host name if it ever is even able to resolve it. If I have cached it then it seems to work pretty well or if I just have the straight up address like I would if I were streaming music off the internet which is something that I do all day long and has been totally stable since the upgrade to 4Mbit...

Anyone having these same issues? I don't know what else it could be other than the DNS servers are just really slow...my connection is fine at 4070 / 353 though so what the hell?!?!?

Ok I have determined that it is the Comcast DNS servers that are not working reliably...All the machines that I have in my house were not able to browsar teh web except one - the one where I specified which DNS to use and it still worked...

I've had problems with the reliabilty of these servers in the past though but they seem to be working right now:

4.2.2.4
4.2.2.5

Comcast DNS servers I were usaring is:

68.87.66.196
68.87.64.196

Maybe someone could post the mighty Cox's DNS sevars????
Please?
Please Man?
Please post some DNS serars man?
