Do you see anything of interest in the following text? We could have changed the weapon degradation for that whole game we played. I can't believe this!!! Well, when we do our game, we'll have to be sure and set those properties. I want no degradation, or maybe very low so we can occasionally summon_obj some weapons, or use the repair kits. But not every 7.2663 seconds. Wow.
System Shock 2 Patch
This patch implements cooperative multiplayer for System Shock 2. Up to four players are supported over internet or LAN. In addition, several bug-fixes and additional features are implemented including the ability for the user to modify weapon degradation and monster re-spawning rates. This patch is only intended for the original release of System Shock 2. If you have purchased a re- released "budget" edition, you should not need this patch.

... install the game and check for those options. I'm starting to think that maybe we did know about that and the situation was still the same. Maybe not, but I don't know how we could have missed that one. I wonder if there is a console command to just turn off gun damage. I want to play this NOW!!! I'm getting VT-102 over it. Because it's going to be damn fun. Fun as frig!!!!!!!

... almost beaten it by myself, I want to resurrect this idea, and play multiplayer damnit. It's so much more fun. I usually have time Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday morning. I've been distracting myself with Vice City though. Quite a fun game. It looks so good with the frame limiter off. I can't believe how good it looks. The textures are rather PS2ish, but you just can't tell when it's running at full framerate. I didn't realize that GTA3 had a frame limiter. I wonder why I never turned it off. Usually, that's the first type of option I'd look at. I turned it off in GTA 3 and it looked nice too. I started it up and when I was looking at my save games, they were dated exactly a year ago. I remember us all scrambling to get the discs.

I had something more grand in mind. But it would require more effort than I am willing to put forth on such a thing.
