Just got two of these:

I highly recommend them. Perfect for N64 emulation, among other things. I've mapped the camera stick to the former camera buttons, etc. It's quite nice using the GC controllers on the PC.
Only $15 each...
There are some other interesting ones, but I like the way these ones disconnect from both the GC controller and the PC USB cable.
Anyway, as one might imagine, I don't use the Firestorms anymore.
