Well, it came out yesterday, but oh well. It supports SM3.0, and 2.0B. It supports normal compression, High Dynamic Range, speed is enhanced, other tweaks and stability issues implemented and fixed. Looks like it's got enough new stuff to finally get me to install Far Cry again. I've not been looking forward to a 6 disc installation. There are some comparison shots of HDR/noHDR on the HardOCP forums.

So uh... sorry for taking this thread off topic...

Let me try and put it back.

I installed the FarCry 1.3 patch today, thought it was funny that the build # is 1337. You can still use the old crack because the exe didn’t change from the last version.

The load times kind of seem a little better! I really can't tell if the patch did anything for us people w/o SM3.0 because I have completely different hardware than I had last time I played this game. The game Looks really smooth on medium though.

I have everything maxed, with HDR on. It looks amazing. It's a little slower with HDR, but it looks fraxing nice! The HDR implementation is only in beta, so I imagine it will improve.
