Should be nice. I can't tell for sure, but it looks like they've even enhanced the engine a little. (Haven't read much about it yet.) I should find the old one. I stopped playing around 50% through because I got a ton of games when I got it, but I'd like to finish it off. I've got both of the originals installed for DOSBox.

The last one was ridiculously fun. I look forward to this one.

Yes. I played it for approximately 2 minutes and 20 seconds. My first impression is that it is darker and that they have put a lot more work into the fighting engine. My second impression was that it isn't as fun as Half-Life 2 and it will have to wait.

Nice. :D I like your description. That is also mine, though I haven't played it, or acquired it yet. It will have to wait. Possibly for me to go through HL2 a third time. I just left Ravenholm on my second time through. About to hop in the buggy. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Did anyone know this was coming?
Did anyone actually play through Warrior Within?
I sure liked Sands of Time. Maybe this new one has some of its spunk...

I didn't see it coming; I just saw a TV commercial for it and was like, "...is that...PoP?" Looks like an interesting twist where you get to play a good version and an less-friendly version of the Prince.

I LOVED Sands of Time. It had all the classic PoP elements, and a few interesting twists. Warrior Within SUCKED! Absolutely abominable. The combat was somewhat like playing an old laser-disc arcade game. It felt almost like wiggling the joystick at the right time to execute an attack. The story and acting were terrible, there was rock-out guitar music playing during battles, which doesn't fit the context at all, and the prince has a bit of a mouth on him. I think they tried to make it edgy to attract other types of players, but if you ask me, they failed miserably. If the new one is more like SoT, then I'd grab it. Unfortunately, it looks a bit more like WW. Perhaps I'll have to "demo" it and see.

I waited a good long while to post about it, but I have spent the last month or so playing The Two Thrones. I got pretty far but it has been derailed by Zelda (and I fear never to return).

The game is pretty good, though. The sands are back and the gameplay is overall actually better than Sands of Time. The fighting is certainly better. Unfortunately the thing missing is story. SoT was so cinematic I felt sad when it ended. Every time there is a cut scene Two Thrones I throw up a little bit in my mouth. But if you want some PoP action and don't mind brushing your teeth after you play I recommend it.

I was wondering how it was. I projectile vomited all over the room, and anyone in it, while trying to play Warrior Within.
