Excellent Admiral. Just excellent. Now, if you haven't gotten my email yet, I need your new address. Then I can send you the ATX plate.

No rush Admiral, but I have no gigz left on the ol' news account. Perhaps I can set up a little FTP server or something. I have a meeting to go to in a little bit, but then I'm not doing anything the rest of the day. I'll see if I can find a cool FTPS utility. I can't get to the freakin' ROMz0rs!!

Nah, just the .91s will be cool. Thanks Admiral. I love that FTP server. Tops in my book. Auggie is playing Mario 64 on Shodan right now, (I'm on Xerxes) so I'll have to wait a while to merge them up.

Boy, good thing too because that 0.90 release and 0.91 release were definitely missing something which I cannot tell in particular. But it was obviously missing.

We should just pull out the ol DC next time we are hangin. There are a number of games I wouldn't mind giving another spin. Powerstone (2) anyone?

When Matt came to visit we did just that, i was amazed how slow the DC loadtimes were, after not using it for so much time.

Can someone with an IRC client grab me the torrent for the .93 ROMs?

This is ridiculous. Do they really need to come out every two weeks? What are they gonna do in 7 more releases? Are they really working towards a 1.0?

Such is the plight of the ROM gatherer. Now perhaps we see why I occasionally have mental breakdowns over this. I've been doing it since 1996, and it wasn't always as "easy" as using torrents or the usenet. I consider this era the "ROM Luxury Era" and it's still a drywall screw in my tibia. But once you've invested 9 years in something like this, it's kinda hard to say "frack this, I'm done." Luckily arcades are not what they once were, and all this will come to an end in my lifetime. I'll die peacefully, knowing that I passed a 100% working MAME set down to my kids.

Umm... Where's my damned torrent?
I could bring myself to start using torrents, but I will NEVER go on IRC to find torrents. I'll need some assistance in that department...
