Yes awesome great!
Sounds like the perfect combination for what I need to get up and running right?
Let me know if either of you need shipping address and what kind of paypaling is required for shipping/handling/compensation etc.
So with the M3Lite do I need some other device to go in Slot1 to allow me to play NDS Roms? I just read thru the wikis on DS Storage but can someone give me a quick review on what I can't do with a Slot2 device (what's all this talk about patching?)? Basically as long as I can play NDS games I'll be happy. No need for media/web support. ...although NES/SNES emu would be nice I suppose.
Thx0r!

I don't need any compensation, and shipping should be ridiculously cheap for something that size. We'll call it "TIDINGS OF GOOD WILL" I've been waiting to use that one in the old context for a while now. I thought of that the other day, and it made me smile.
So, in order to make it work, you will either need a little passme cart for Slot-1 (I think I have some of these laying around,) or you can do the Flashme trick. (which on the DS-Lite is quite easy, and you'll never have to have anything in that slot.) It's quite safe if you follow the directions closely (and you're already familiar with console-hackery anyway.)
If I have a slot-1 thing though, it will be a bit easier.
You will also need to use the M3 Game Manager software to transfer games to the card. It's a small utility, and works great. It does the patching, enables cheats, soft-resets, and that sort of thing.
HOWEVER: An AceKard II, or a DSTT is $13 from DealExtreme, is slot-1, supports clean ROMs (just copy them to the flash card and play,) and also acts as a passme device at the same time. It may be worth just picking one up.
Just let me know what you want to do. If you want the M3, I'll be happy to send it down, (or up depending on how you orient yourself in the universe.)

Those are a great place to start. I'm nearly done with Order of Ecclesia. I think I still like Dawn of Sorrow best, but PoR and OoE are very good games. I'd grab Tetris DS of course. I call it THE NEW STANDARD IN TETRIS (add low voice and echo to that phrase.) It has some new fangled play mechanics, but nothing extreme. I play single player endless marathon mode, and can get 565 lines.
If you haven't played Chrono Trigger before, I recommend it highly on the DS. It's the perfect sort of RPG for it.
Korg DS10 is great. It's two patchable synthesizers, and a drum module and sequencers for each. You can actually makes some pretty cool music with it.
Advance Wars is a good turn based strategy game.
Ghostbusters came out for it, but I'd highly recommend playing the PC one as it's a much better game. (though the DS one is different enough to be its own game)
The Mario and Luigi games are good, very light-hearted action RPGs. Fun if you don't want to think that much. I prefer The Phantom Hourglass though. Just the right balance for an action RPG.
New Super Mario Bros of course. Good classic (pre-Marioworld-type action.)
Yoshi's Island - more good platforming.
The Nanostray games are great overhead 3Dish shooters.
I'll dump a bunch of these on the cart for you.

I'm all for a train. Odd, but interesting, and have they ever made a bad Zelda game? Not that I've played. I would say the second one, but the only reason I'm not into it is that it's too fwickin' hard!

Not sure if it supports SDHC. Since it's MiniSD and not Micro, I'm not certain. (do they make SDHC in Mini?) Mini is kind of a forgotten format it seems (most of the time.)
So, the Castlevania thread reminded me that I'm a bad friend, and that I must send the tidings of good will ASAP. (I think ASAP means Friday.)

Ok, I have improved the tidings of good will. I ordered you an AceKard2. It has free shipping, and was only a little over the price that shipping would have been anyway.
Since it's free shipping, and coming via standard mail, it will probably take up to 5-7 days or so.
Anyway, this is the card that I use, and it's tippy-tops. It also works with the DSi if you ever go that route. It supports clean ROMs, so all you need to do is download and copy them onto the flash card. There is a little setup involved before first use. You have to copy some files/folders to the SD card, and then you won't have to worry about it again, unless you want to update the software. Just check the AceKard site for instructions.

Not a problem. I started thinking about how much I don't like using the M3 Game Manager, and how one is inclined to move things over in batches, but how some games don't like certain settings, so one has to either change them one at a time, or move them over in the batch, try the games, find the few that need different settings, and re-game-manage-them back onto the flash card. (How's that for a run-on?) 457 conjunctions!!!! It's not quite as bad as it sounds, but when you can just copy a rom onto a slot-1 device and play it, the M3 Game Manager sounds like NO FUN!

Doh... no save, and locks up when you get on the train, even with latest M3 DS Real firmware.
EDIT:
The whistles go WOOOOOOOOOO!
Fixed by switching to the Sakura Firmware 1.44x, and using the patched save file.
