Quake 4 in PC Gamer 05:55 pm - Robert 'Apache' Howarth - games: action (19 comments)

PC Gamer Magazine will be featuring Quake 4 on its November issue sporting a 10 page preview of Raven's first person shooter (FYI - id gave them the rights to develop it). The issue hits newstands September 21st. They were nice enough to send an image of the cover as well, check that out here.

Yeah that might not last long. The thread on beyond3d.com already dissappeared. Good lookin out though. Should be another classic.

looks exactly like doom....


I was kind of hoping they'd brighten up the pallete a bit more like Q3.

They did brighten it up. Notice how you can see the hallways instead of a big black mass of shadow. I think it's still early too. There is apparently going to be a lot of outdoor activities and vehicles.

Just got this pc gamer, it is my last issue.

Good article on quake 4, but i think its time to say goodbye to pc gamer.

The Vede had an article about tweaking doom3, thats news form 2 months ago. poo!

Its not exactly like you ever read PCGamer for their hardware section though. You get Maximum PC? I think I am on year 2 of about decade's subscription.
