jp folks - keitai rental

Post by enderzero »

Anyone seen a better deal than this for renting a cell phone?

Rentafone Japan

Charges (Vodafone):
Rental (1 week) 3900
after 1st week Y300 day X 4 days 1200
airtime Y60/min (est 20min) 1200
email 5Y/ea (est 100) 500

Total = Y6800

Think I can find this cheaper?

Did you end up finding any better deals than that? Kiriko's going back to Japan for a while and may wish to get a temporary keitai of some kind...

I found the "Have Jo2fro2 set up his family plan with the AU phone I already had and pay around Y4000 (again)" deal. If you post here he will surely read it and respond immediately.

Kiriko can avoid the gaijin that doesn't speak japanese well problem and just hook up a new phone, deactivating it when she leaves. The rental places are a bit of a ripeth offeth.

Yeah, I suppose so...
How about dog rental places? Have you found anywhere with reasonable prices for a team of small to medium sized dogs capable of pulling a sled on concrete?
