... Duke Nukem 3D GL port. They've be popping up here and there since the source was released by 3D Realms. I'm going to give it a whirl tonight. I finally installed Quake, Tenebrae, new textures, new models, new skins, tweaked my video settings, tweaked my ini settings, and now Quake 1 looks every bit as good as Doom 3. Full per pixel lighting, shadows, the water is reflective and when you're in it there are some nifty caustics. The particle system is now incredibly cool. It runs just fast enough to play on my system. (With a few tweaks though it runs well on a GeForce 4.) There is a port like this getting made for Quake 2, but I'm not sure if they use all the pixel shaders or not. It is greatly enhanced though. My project is coming along nicely.

Wow! That Quake 1 sounds awesome! I would love to play through that again looking like that. Need a PC for sure for that one tho.
