The Larry Sanders Show

Post by enderzero »

Patrick - were you perhaps thinking of...

Jeremy Piven?

Maybe most famous for his role in the TV series "Ellen" and his role as Dean Pritchard in the recent comedy blockbuster "Old School."

And don't forget Philip Seymour Hoffman.

...although I don't remember why we were talking about him, because he wasn't on the Larry Sanders Show. Regardless, my favorite P.S.Hoffman role is the crazy matress salesman in Punch Drunk Love. Damn he is a good actor.

So...uhhhh...the Larry Sanders show. Pretty damn funny. If someone downloads any, then let me know. thx ;)

Yes! Jeremy Piven is the "That Guy" whose name I could not recall. He's had so many tiny roles, including playing George Costanza in the TV Show that Jerry and George write on "Seinfeld":

We were talking about Hoffman in reference to the movie Happiness by Todd Solondz. That's a great, twisted film. Not a great date movie though. :noway:

Somebody gotta recognize on the "Larry Sanders Show". Great, crisp writing and chockful of tongue-in-cheek star cameos.

Anyone see Jeremy Piven in Old School? Was funny to see him play the crusty dean - exactly the opposite of his role as campus partymonger in PCU!

When looking for the post about ashy larry i stumbled across this.

I hate gary shandling, I can't believe i was overcome with curiosity and stumbled into this thread.

Mr. Piven also had a show called cupid.

I also remeber him as "the chopper pilot in black hawk down, aka chopper dave"

and the guy that got his life turned to shit, in very bad things.
