They decided to roll out some big stupid DRM system that requires you to connect to their servers EVERY TIME for authentication even for single-player components to their games. As usual everyone's pissed off.
It got cracked day one by Skid Row. HEE HEE HEE
Idiots. Just make a game that people will want, make a compelling multiplayer portion, sell it on Steam for authentication, and blam! People buy your game. Duh!
Anyone following the Ubisoft DRM thing?

You would have to tell me which part is untrue. Also, while they did crack the sub game, I don't think they did so 100%, as it does download game content during play. My post was on the day of the SR announcement. You'll find further discussion on this in the ME2 thread of all places... And where else would one get information on games and technology. Certainly the intarweb is the premiere source of such information. Just requires some digging for accuracy.
