I too have been waiting for this...the procedural animation is rather innovative. Will definitely be buying it for sure. EB games says pre-orders ship 9/7/2008. I will wait till it is convenient to buy.

Losing interest in spore on the tribal stage. It got kinda RTS'ish, does it stay this way?

I think so. I hear the space level is where it gets crazy. I haven't played it much. This is one that will sit around until I get bored some day, then I'll play it more.

I got to space last night...I am playing on easy though and it's been terribly easy...I am pretty much totally military though...
