Saturn Emulation Is Now Useful...

Post by R3C »

Some people have finally refined their Saturn emulators to the point of being quite compatible, accurate, and fast. Even on my slowest machine, I can play any Saturn game.

I've tried Nights, Shinobi Legions, Radiant Silvergun, Symphony of the Night, etc. There weren't a ton of cool games on that system, but there were some really good ones here and there.

Symphony of the Night is pretty cool. Some of the graphical techniques (like transparency) pale in comparison to the Playstation version, but there are extra levels, more playable characters, and no cheesy English dialog. (though I suppose you could just get the Japanese version for the Playstation to solve that too.

Anyway good stuff. Dreamcast emulation is also up there. I need to raid the Admiral's collection. :ninja:
