Excellent comparison, you picked nearly perfect hardware. I would fully recommend the 6800 GT over both X800s though. I've owned both, and that's my unbiased opinion. (You know how much I was pushing ATI until this card came out.) Same price as the X800 Pro, yet performs as well as the XTPE in most cases. OpenGL implementation is WAY better too. The X800s are not bad in any way whatsoever, but the 6800 GT is just a lot better. I'd change that, and only that. You chose excellent parts for each level, and it's something I would have expected from HardOCP, AnandTech, etc. The 6800 GT opinion would definitely be backed up by several thousand people. At the low range though, the 9800s are the perfect recommendation as Nvidia's cards suck from that generation. Nice job!

BTX is dead. Here comes DTX.
BTX, introduced a couple of years ago, has not caught on very widely, and Intel decided to shelve future development late last year.
