web stuff

Post by spidermonkey »

The time has nearly come where I must construct a web page so that I can get a job at a company that I don't hate so much...
Any recommendations for hosting and the like?

ixwebhosting is pretty damn cheap and feature packed.

The Hositng Chart has a decent round up, as do other top search sites found via google.

So I went with the ix (it being the first thing I clicked on.)

Yes, I am about to go looking for some work. Most places will pay me close to twice what I'm making now. Of course, there's the tradeoff of having to work more than 6 hours a day and not being able to drink while working... I seem to have developed an aversion to actionscript, so I went for teh html. I'll probably put some animation up there sometime...

I took a gander at your site, it's pretty cool. I like how you've included the donkey concept artwork.

Lot of great stuff on there. The 7-Eleven counter, was that from a photo, or from memory?

Jonathan, I don't even know what to say when I see your artwork. There is something there that really resonates with me though. Absolutely incredible.

The conveniences store counter and exterior shots are backgrounds for a short animated film kind of thing to be completed pretty soon...
