New Photo Galleries
Can you believe it? I have actually posted a bunch of new photos. This is just a few of my favorites. Still to come are shots from Turkey, Germany, Austria, Poland, Italy, and likely more from Prague.

Please tell me what you think about the galleries. Are they a good solution? Any suggestions at all would be helpful. I would love to implement a comments function but I haven't looked into that yet.
I look forward to your comments.

I have... it is too constrictive for my tastes. It would certainly facilitate quicker access though.
So what do you think of the lower frame thumbs? Is that a good solution? What would be better? No thumbs needed? A page of thumbs that link to a pic that has the nav options?
Anyone use the slideshow?

What I like about flickr:
- quick access, easy to update
- comments, favorites, etc
- tagging
- easy to use with other websites
I understand how it might seem a bit constrictive to you though. I think their slideshows could be a bit larger too.
I think you definately need thumbs.
One thing I didn't like too much was that the picture did not fit in the upper frame, so I had to scroll down to see the caption. Suggest you put the caption to the left or right (since you have a lot of free space there).
I haven't tried the slideshow yet, but will give it a spin.

Nice photos! What an intersting trip that must be. I really like the architecture there.
Gallery Accessibility:
Pros:
I like that the next button never changed position, that is important in a web gallery for me. That way i can leave the mouse in one spot and just click when I want the next picture. I hate galleries where you have to click the thumbnail, or hunt for the next button that jumped an inch to the side.
Cons:
I also was bothered by the scrolling to do the caption thing.

the slideshow is a bit funky, it likes to skip some pics real fast.
or maybe it's just my computer.
ps- i feel like i just saw the Bone Church on the Travel Channel or something.

I have a whole lot more pics that I plan to put into some larger, more narrative gallery ...someday.
But for now you can at least see some of my faves.
