That jump was a real beeyatch. We made it a bit too steep so it was hard to stay over your board. No one was really nailing any spins but we were doing better and pointing from the top by the end of the day (when we were tired of camera work). Hard jumps equal good practice though.
We rode two days at Squaw, two at Sugar Bowl, and one at a little cheap place called Donner something-er-other where we just hiked over the back and built said kickar. We had great conditions including two days of Niseko quality powdar. It was a grrreat trip. I haven't really felt like I have been improving my riding skills much for the last season or so but for some reason I noticed a real improvement last week. I remember I used to watch with envy at those guys riding down hill at full speed and then just flipping back and forth 180 without thinking. A couple days last week I was just in the zone and spinning all around like a mad man.
Damn I love snowboarding. I just bought a season's pass to Mammoth for next year. With lift prices there at $65, the very limited early season price of $450 is a steal. I am sure I will be able to make it up there the 8 days I need to to pay for it. Hopefuly headed there this w/e as well.
You make it into the snow at all g.mon?
