"I don't care about it" "I'm tired of talking about it" "I have more important things to worry about" "We don't want to hurt the morale of troops" These sentiments really sicken me. Maybe when your ass gets drafted and sent you will wish you had talked more about it or actually done something to hav...

Dirty is confusing me, or maybe I am too drunk to be reading right now... either way, are you quoting me and calling me one-sided? Everyone in this forum is more intelligent than average, and as such, I don't think that any of us can be pigeon-holed too much politically. Hell, BEEEPH is made out to ...

Sparkle brought up four very good points that were ridiculed as falicious. I can shed some light on the first point: "illegal by any standard" (for the record, I am studying to be a lawyer in international law). Warning: this is a little long, but I number/underlined main points. ---Illegal by any s...

Moore's work should not be label "one-sided," it should be labeled as the "hidden-side." This is the side of the wars and administration that the mainstream media has ignored or glossed over. Moore doesn't need to present the other side per se; the other side has oversaturated the discourse for year...

I also attest to the greatness of Candiria. I have obtained their past albums...by finding them abandoned and in need of a home. Did I ever mention that I got my settlement check from the 2 billion class action lawsuit against the record industry for defrauding consumers throughout the 1990s? Yeah, ...

Fred Savage is now offering love advice!
His expertise in all things sexual? "I got a lot of 12-year-old pussy during my time on the set so I probably can be of a lot of help."
Sounds like a real pro.

What I meant by "no new info" is that there was nothing presented in the movie that hasn't already, at some point over the last few years, already been put out in the media. This makes the right-wing freak out all the more interesting to me . . . but now they are deriding the film as nothing but smo...

School was rough this quarter. Had a massive research project to do and was in the thick of my language studies at the same time. Also, computer death occurred and it took a while to get back in the groove. On vacation now for a few more days.

I have returned on new computer. Horray. Saw F911 last night at the 11:30pm showing at the Meridian. Very good, but no new info was presented. It's the packaging that Moore is so good at. His showcase of the insidious military recruiters was ingenious. Also interesting that I saw Moore defending his...

Qwik K.Costner movie formula:

1. Make a shitty romance movie involving sports.
or
2. Make a shitty action movie (must have horses in it no matter what - even WaterWorld had horses!)

If K.Costner is lurking: DANCES WITH WOLVES does not give you permission to make crap on screen jerksticker!!!!

I went to one of those once. They promised to pay for a trip to Vegas (tix/hotel). I sat through a 15 min movie; told them "go to hell, where's my tix?" and went to Vegas on their dime the next month.... had to stay at the Sahara, but it was free.

Read "See No Evil" about 3 months ago. I liked the part where he's in central Asia chatting with the soldiers who don't even know that the USSR had fallen a year prior who then try to "convince" him he should leave his translator girl with them. I would have kept that box of grenades though!

...let's be realistic about the blame for 9/11. It's not with Bush II. It's with Carter, Reagan, Bush I, and most especially Clinton. I went and saw David Cross about a week or two ago and he read the funniest piece of news: When Texas was in the process of trying to ban sodomy (aka buttsex), they were also working a piece of legislation that would legalize human/animal sex!!! Getting away from the gay marriage issue:

Who should Kerry run with?..... I think New Mex gov Richardson would be a hot ticket. I don't really think Edwards is up to it, nor do I like the idea of bringing in Graham, Gebhardt, or either Clinton.

Actually, I'm playing the legal card. Law does not emerge from a void, but evolves over time. What may seem to be unrelated cases of legal precedence to those who only take a cursory look at the law, is really a complex and interconnected relationship of definitions. Freeing blacks was defined as so...
