This was just to good to pass up. The folks at Pirate Bay are actually trying to buy their own country to avoid copyright laws. In this case, the “country†is 500 meter long platform in the ocean called “Sealand.â€

Always one to stir up a bit of controversy, it looks like the Pirate Bay is making a move to buy its very own micro country, in an attempt to avoid the problems surrounding copyright law.
